when i was walking back to my comet, watching this guy try to get that beast into the parking spot:nuts: :wtf: :buttkick: back up a lil, turn the wheel, go foward, turn the wheel, back up turn the wheel go foward a little etc... took about 5 min. the guy actually lives near my grandfather. he bought the car from the same owner of the house he bought. the original owner was like 100 and the caprice was probably the best looking original ive ever seen. dark blue in immaculate condition. within a month it got the rims and the next summer that wonderful paint job.
They're migrating everywhere they started in Texas and are headed north for the winter. They have even hit the redneck cities. I hate seeing them around here, and I hate that you have to see them too.
I don't know where it started, but it seems like it's mostly the black community around here that do that. I've seen some of them with some really nice paint jobs, but the wagon wheels/rubber band tires/4X4 altitude kills it for me....I like a tire that has sidewalls, preferably with raised white letters, but that's my story and I'm stickin' to it. :evilsmile
A guy across the street from me has an 81 cutlass with what looks to be 30" rims. It was a nice car, now I lmao everytime I see it. I am guessing he is going to add gold chrome to it next.
Donk. Theres a taxi service in Fayetteville that has Donks for cabs. Is this worse than the 12" reverse offset low pros that were on imports around 1987? You remember the ones...sweet trispoke Pacers...stuck out about 7 inches from the wheel wells...
We called those skateboard cars.Could pick 'em out in the rain real easy, just look for quadruple rooster tails.
there is a guy that drives around here in a raised '73 impala like that but i have a little more respect for him because he went through the trouble of swapping the body on to a 4x4 truck frame so its actually nor of a monster truck then anything
We have a few of those around here... stupid. The big rims look good on some things, but mainly SuV's that can actually allow them to turn w/ them on there
