Maybe your too young to remember those cars when new, you stayed away from them, they were fast. A friend of mine made a lot of money with his, and I know of another one is a garage that is like new.

I don't remember them being four-doors though. His name was on a few different chrysler models in that era.

Yeah, they had Shelby Chargers too...
The Charger also had a Ranchero/El Camino like version.
Forgot the name, but they did a couple of those in Shelby trim too.

Dodge Omni's had to be one of the most rust prone cars ever built. I have seen those cars in the junkyard, literally rusted in half. My grandpa has one out in his field, I put my foot on the rear bumper and it fell off due to rust.

These cars had to be the low point of Shelby's career! They might go fast but they are NOT muscle cars.

    Omnis are fun.
I used to run my exes moms Omni through the Mesa running over rabbits and jumping hills.
It was very easy to drive and felt like a skate.

89 Civics are the same way.

Don't forget the Shelby Dakota pickup, also with a convertible version.
    1989 and 1990.

Sorry, I can't find a photo. Plenty of non-convertible versions.

I think that it only came with a V-6.

Some of those Shelby seats looked pretty cool with a big CS embroidered on them. I wouldn't mind having a pair.

I have seen some Shelby Dakotas with V8's.
