i will be leaving in about 3 hrs. ...the mav. took a dump last night i went to move it out of the shop and the key wouldn't go to the start position. when i turned it to the off position it wouldn't go to lock to get the key out. i could turn it to the on position and jump the solinoid and it would start. i will deal with that later... so i guess the GRAND SHOWING of my new...HOLLEY 950-22S ...THROTTLE BODY INJECTION SYSTEM will be in pics. later. thanks Mike, (he trailered my car down to the dyno). it took about 4 hrs. on the DYNO to tune it. got home with it about 12:00 am tuesday night. the guy doing the tunning wouldn't stop untill he had it like he wanted it. we road around town for about an hour with it hooked to his laptop. this guy has his on dyno (new) in his dads garage. this is the guy with the 4dr. rambler with...1200+ rwhp and 996 ft.lbs.t will talk more about it when i get there... ... ...
Sounds awesome Frank! If your car was converted to a floor shift without changing the column, double check that the original collar on the column has rotated slightly, causing your key issue.
Imma but ready to leave to. Gotta take the dog to the beauty shop then swing by the boat storage to get some "tackle" for the kids fishing tournament....then we will be on our way. Look forward to seeing everyone.
The problem with your car is simple. The colum ring needs to move just a little and it will work again. The ring just pass the key piece needs to be readjusted
