I have a Griffin direct replacement radiator. Had mine out in 90+ heat with 10:1 compression and never got over 180˚
Must be summer in other places than Texas, second radiator question today. Mine is the same but Summit Circle Track Aluminum for less than $200
Mine is NOT a direct fit. It is a little bit bigger side-to-side. It has no brackets, you have to fab your own up. Do a search or check out my website (just go to the index page and click on the month with NEW RADIATOR and it will give price and part number, as well as what I had to do to install it). Look around here...http://home.cmaaccess.com/~scodon/october2006.htm and I finished it up in December.
i was also lookin at that summit circle track radiator where did you fab your brackets to mount to? does anyone know if theres any aluminum water pump that isnt reverse rotation that was production for 302s?
rad Damn!! didn't want to hear that! If I have to put the fan out frt , then the trans cooler would have to to the back... oh well I'll figure something out.. next issue is to find some frigging traction!! 2 trips to the track so far, best 60ft is a 1:84 and thats kinda feathering it off the line. tried 2 foot to the floor launches and all I saw was the shift lite...came on so fast I couldn't even lift fast enought..
