When I got home from vacation my Russ Davis Frame was waiting. It needs to be cleaned, smoothed and restored. Anybody know a company that can handle a little more than just a simple bumper rechrome?
the last company I used for chroming was out of wisconsin.they do all aspects of chroming and repair/restoration. I can did the name out later if your interested.(hard to do at work)
is that where your car was bought new? im sure theres probaly license plate frame restorations out there somewhere!!!
funny that dealer is still there.... well it is a used car dealer for ford... the name is long gone though...
Dan, is there a Harley custom shop around you? They are always sending stuff out to get chromed and you could probably get it in with their stuff pretty resonable.

I decided for now I'll go the paint route. I smoothed it out today and painted it with aluminum exhaust paint. When it's dries thoroughly I'll mask it to paint the blue background and white letters ...
Bobby, i sent a part to them some years back, it came back a mess. i sent it back and they redid it and it was no better. i sent it back and had them take the chrome off. JMO it's years later so i don't know how they do now ...:Handshake ...
