    The truth is; I got them from a friend who didn't want them anymore. They were new and still in the original box. He had bought them for a '78 Ford truck he was fixing up, but ended up getting rid of the truck and had no use for the wires. I do not know what store he got them from. They are pretty much the equivalent of late '70s/early '80s factory Duraspark-II wires (only orange, instead of blue)...

    They are powder-coated. I used to paint them, but had to touch them up once-a-month becaust it would chip off. The powder coating has really held up well...
