'70 Grabber Rimblow. I passed on a Rimblow in a junked '70 b/c I didn't know they were rare. Wish I had pulled it. Sport Steering Wheel? Someone posted that they came on '76 Stallions. I thought this was discovered to be false. They never came on Mavericks, did they? Seth
because ford need a mercury(luxury) version on the maverick..they did it for years and still do it today.
One of the Stallion gurus here posted that the sport wheel was an option. So, not only was it never available on regular Mavs, but is apparently rare on Stallions.
Picture from August 1970 Road Test magazine .. Also ... here is an original Grabber flyer for both Maverick and Mustang ... you can read the text below the picture listing the Maverick package included the Rim Blow wheel ... and Mustang Grabber ..
Okay, I guess I can let ya slide. I could see she was hot for you. The whole time I was thinkin..."Why don't you guys get a ROOM"!!!
You can't even believe everything you read that comes from Ford.. sometimes stuff doesn't happen as printed. The 71 shop manuals list the Boss 302 for the Mustang instead of the Boss 351. They were printed before they canceled the Boss 302. There was never a Maverick convertible made by Ford. They did make a prototype with no roof, but I do not believe it had a convertible top. There have been a few enterprising people that cut the roof off and made their own convertibles. Speaking of which, Dennis, when is that thing going to be finished?
