If you could help me gather all the parts it would be AWESOME. I don't mind doing the work but its finding the right parts that kills me :/ And if you were to help me it would be greatly appreciated. :)

The shifter linkage that fits the transmission is the easy part to adapt. I just did this with my 77 Comet. The floor shifter is from some other Ford application (Pinto most likely) The previous owner had already cut a hole in the floor so what was done was done. I bolted the shifter assembly down over the hole (it was still attached to the donor car's tunnel cover) using sheet metal scews (the kind they use on metal buildings, I know it ain't kosher, but this is a budget build) I used the longest manual trans shifter rod I had in my parts bin, bent it to shape. Then I made a transmission linkage adapter out of 1/8" aluminum (doubled to make it thicker, this was actaully an accessory mount I'd made to hang a smog pump on the front of the 5.0 in my Ranger) It's "boomerang" shaped with a 3/8" hole at either end. I bolted one end to the hole where the column shifter linkage arm did using a grade 8 3/8" x 1" bolt, a washer headed lock nut (these are used on many Ford accessory brackets) and used a thick rubber O ring to fill the empty space between the bolt and linkage hole. Tightened the crap out of the bolt. The aluminum does not move whatsoever. Attached the manual trans linkage rod to the aluminum adapter bracket, the top hole of it is roughly located where the factory floor shifter trans linkage would be. I'll try to post pics of this setup tomorrow on my photobucket page. Works just like the factory shifter does. This here is the VERY FINEST in "Redneck Engineering" you'll find anywhere, the whole operation cost me exactly ZERO DOLLARS to make. :rofl2:

Awesome man. :D If not I am willing to get the motor from the 1990 fox body mustang. I'd just need help getting all the right parts to make it fit. The motor from the '90 is complete and the person is holding it for me, so just let me know

Alright I will probably pick it up some time during next week. The roller motor is missing a few things like the distributer and it needs some new piston rings, so when I pick it up I'm going to get those small parts that I need. What exactly needs to come off the old motor so that roller motor fits? (ie: oil pan and stuff)

Probably mechanical since I'm not a big fan of doing much electrical stuff  But if an electrical one is sigificantly better, then I'll do electrical.

I don't really know much about this swap :/ So I need all the help I can get
