Well around where i live my car has gotten some street reputation all the tuners around are always picking races and i have shut all them down.
now the only problem is the cops love to watch my car and the tuners have backed off. I was wondering if this is good or bad reputation.

now that they have backed off you don't have a reason to race. eventually the police will stop watching you. might as well just head to the drag strip and race there. :)

It's always good to win a race when you don't actually have to run it. My 428 Cobra Jet badges on my hood scoop won me more races than anything.

Time to take it to the track.

well 90 percent of the races are at the track its the ones off the track that got the cops on me. Im not really not a street racer there the type that are afraid to be beaten in front of a crowd.

The cops leave me alone because I drive it like the Granny-mobile it is on the city streets and highways (well...almost, I take off fast enough at red lights to scare the girls and highschool guys in 5.0 mustangs). At the track, I whip the 5.0s...

I am now known, respectfully, as "the guy with the maverick" and only I (and everyone else on this forum) know how wimpy my car really is with 8:1 compression and stock rotating assembly...

but it still beats the ricers, and the mustangs...:p

Winning races against 4 cyl can be quite impressive as some of these rice eaters are making 600+ hp from less than 2.0 liters displacment. Now that is impressive. Keep kicking butt(y) By the way I have that 250 up and running!:bananaman Thanks again:tiphat:
