Like the Hood, Love the stance. Don`t really care for the side scoops. Nice car though.

Guy at a car show last weekend told me his Dad ordered a hipo 289 Maverick that ran 10's in the qtr. bone stock. They had to retire it cause the dragstrip was forcing them to install a rollbar. All done with street tires too. Probably a Shelby Maverick.

Darn! I could've left the stock 289 in my '67 Fairlane and run low 13's. I wasted money to build a 450 HP 289 just to get that Fairlane in the very low 12's. Where was all this valuable info when I needed it.

There was someone on here (last year?) who's wife's aunt's husband's brother was the illegitement half brother of CS and he was somehow related to the Mexican guy that marketed the Shelby Maverick.

I got an email many years ago from someone who traded a 429 Torino for a factory BOSS 302 Maverick that could do wheelies. He said he had pictures, but I never got them.

Stefan cannot file a suit on this because the lack of information was caused by the natural occurrence of your advance age.
