Soooo...the Sanderson Shelby GT500 is not done yet and I find myself without a car for the Commerce FFW race. If anyone in the Commerce area has an '05-07 Mustang (V8 or V6...preferably automatic) or knows someone who does and would be willing to work out a deal please let me know asap. Splitting the win money is not a problem for me. I don't need the car for anything other than running down the track.

PM me here or email me at.......

    Thanks, guys.

Funny bastage. It's not the rental joints anymore. Ford Racing is the root of that evil. Seems they don't like it when rental cars dominate their class.

How far is commerce from angleton?

But ours is convertible, and they probably wouldn't let you run a convert on the track...

Hmmm.....I wonder if I can borrow/rent Jason Line's PS car for next weekend's race?

I also wonder how long it'll be before FFW requires proof of ownership for the ride you're going to be racing.

What the heck...at least it would be more fun with the stick. :drive: Sorry for the typo...I think I did that once before too. :sorry: Oh well...nothing wrong with a extra hump every now and then. ;)

Yeah...I tried telling that to the dickhead in their "DNR" department. He didn't appreciate it very much. Told me I was "damaging" their cars by racing them. I responded that I treat their cars better than most people treat their personal cars. The rest of the conversation went like this......

DNR Boy: "What kind of car do you drive daily, Mr. Wheeler?"

    Me: "A Ford Mustang GT."

DNR Boy: "Oh I see...so you are accustomed to abusing a car since you drive a sports car."

Me: "Actually, my car is very dependable and reliable due to me driving it like an adult and not beating the crap out of it, thank you very much."

DNR Boy: "It has been my experience that people who drive sports cars abuse everything they drive."

Me: "Since you are insulting me....what do you drive daily, Junior?"

DNR Boy: "I have a family so I drive a minivan."

Me: "Oh I see....it has been my experience that grown men who drive a minivan have been castrated by their overbearing wives and end up with their balls in the wife's custody."

DNR Boy then hangs up on me. Can't imagine why....... :rofl2:
