well, some info to those who believe this one year only tank is the same................ they're not. I received a stock tank today and this one has emission hoses and connections in the top (mine is blank there), plus there's at least two different inlet filler sizes; mine is 2.25" diameter and this tank is 3.25" diameter.:(

The design is one year only (drop in / trunk floor).

The replacement you found is equipped for California emissions and maybe some other states. The extra hoses lead to a device mounted in the left rear quarter area.

yep, that's it. I'll have to make something to block it off as I didn't receive any of those pieces with the tank.

Also going to have to find that adaptor hose for the inlet. Was counting on driving the car for the first time since taking it from the car hauler, down my driveway, and into the shop to fix the leaking tank.

Talk to the person you got the tank from and see if they still have the coupler hose. It might be a hard item to find.

yeah, I've sent him a pm, but the ship time is an issue. I found a silicone turbo hose transition that should hold up for a while, it will be here tomorrow. Now I'm off to the shop to make a blockoff plate.

    Thanks for the help.

You might find the parts at Pick N Pull. You could probably find them on a old Torino, Cougar or Montego if there are no Mavericks or Comets there. I replaced the tubing on mine with standard 3/8" OD Polyethylene tubing. Worked just fine.
