http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1971...oryZ6057QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem take a look and tell what you think, seriously thinking of buying this car I have already spoken to the owner and have to go to bank tomorrow and get the money man I like this car my wife likes it to I really don't have then time to fix mine been working alot.
looks like a clean decent car,.....I hope your not going for the 10k asking on the buy it now. I dont see it worth that (at least with my money)but it looks to be worth a fair price.
yeah i wouldnt pay that much for it. 4k max.. after all.. some of the other cars we have seen in better condition going for 5500-6500
For $9,500, it should be in PERFECT condition (IMO). I'd be concerned about the vibration also. I'd find out what it REALLY is and take that into account.
Yeah that hurts you on resell when you admit what you paid for the car just a few weeks earlier. Especially in the Maverick community!
hey I want to make 3600 in 4 weeks to Why the sudden increase in the price. If these car gain value that fast some of you guyes are billionaries. Don't get me wrong it is a nice car for what he paid for it 4 weeks ago but that is just my
What somebody paid for it 4 weeks ago has nothing to do with it. What somebody is willing to pay for it NOW is all that matters. Basic economics there. I guess we will find out.
My only concern would be WHY is he turning it around that fast. If he thinks he can make a quick buck ... thats fine ... but if he found something wrong with the car after he acquired it.... that sucks ... The last message in the thread above was that he was having it delivered to him via truck transport and he never reported back on the condition or anything ...
As with buying ANY car.....look at all the obvious red flags: New (or not original) paint, incorrect Grabber stripes, motor making noises, etc.
exactly, would make me very leary. I would want to know the reason he's selling. One could assume that it had issues or was not nearly as nice as the pics. Jody
I agree with some of that statement. If it was a highly collectable car then all fine and good. And I have no problem with someone making a profit off of something. My point is that can hurt your haggling price when someone finds out how much you actually paid for it, when nothing has been done to the car since being in his possession. A turn around that fast can make people leary like we have already seen. Especially in this case which is a $3600 difference. I hope he gets as much out of it as possible. It only helps our cars to grow in value. If his sells this will be the third car in the past couple months to fetch $10K or close to it!
