I just purchased a 1975 maverick. It has the 3 speed on the floor and i was wondering what can i interchange the transmition for. I want to have a 5 speed or 4 speed automatic with a hurst shifter. I don't know where to look or go to start this project if anyone could help. please let me know. thanks.

As Frank stated, use the "Search" function. There are numerous threads covering several types of transmission swaps. Plenty of threads covering the T5 transmission swap that seems to be very popular. I have not posted much here but I do search the topics and read just about everything related to my Maverick and the modifications planned. Good Luck!
