I was planning on going to the Cruise on Central that night Gene.

 

Oh...did not realize that was the same night.

 

I just found out about it myself. I want to say it was a last minute plan by Nancy Perry. Or possibly a last minute approval by the city.

 

Anyone??

 

I'm just around the corner, so may come by. Both my Mavs are in the Show Low shop, but don't have anything else planned that night.

 

Woops...plans have changed and this is cancelled.

 

Got a lot done on my Maverick this weekend. Swapped in a new temperature gauge. Changed my intake manifold because the old one warped and had a bad vacuum leak. Changed all hoses. Tried to install a aluminum radiator from Amazon but didnt fit the core support or fan shroud. I could deal with modifying one or the other but it was just too far off. Also reconnected my panel speakers and decided I'd rather cut holes in black panels then have a shitty stereo.

 

Nice...good to hear you are working on the Mav...what intake did you put on it?

 

I got a Weiand Stealth. They used to be the only dual plane with a rear water crossover but I just found out even they block the rear passages off. Its nice to be able to idle at 800 rpms again though.

 

I got my parachute mounted. Does that count?

 

It only counts if you plan to use it someday.

 

I'm hoping that I'll never need it! I invested in brakes.
