i went to a junkyard this weekend just looking around. its called old car city and is now turned into an outside museum of sorts with 35 acres of cars from the 40s-late 70s. its huge. found more rotted mustangs than anything else but i did find a few mavericks. the guy doesnt sale parts anymore so i wasnt going for that.

heres a few mavs i found. makes me glad of the condition my car is in. this is sad.

Wow what a shame for any vehicle pre 80s to be just sitting and rotten.

Lot of useable parts on that property; does the owner sell entire cars? Just curious!

i was told they havent sold any parts for a few decades now. he refuses. he just wants it to be as is. yes youre not kidding! he had pretty much anything from the 40s-late 70s just sitting there. even found 4, 68 chargers. found tons of mustangs. tons of old ford trucks. its unreal what this property has.

Not to worry ... Someday this property owner will pass on .. and then the government will swoop in to make sure we have an abundant supply of 'ashtrays' ... What we need is a POTUS that's a ' Car Person ' !!! Can't COUNT the times I've stopped when I've seen a Maverick or Comet and almost ALWAYS .. the person says .. no ... I've gonna fix it up ..and they don't want to sell it !! ...Or ... I'm going to give it to my ( Son , Daughter , Cousin , etc. etc. ) It's sad when you happen to drive by that same area maybe a year or so later and the car is UNMOVED and a little more rusty and covered more with debris .. But I ' STILL ' stop and check out any NEW Finds !! Keep looking people ... They're OUT THERE !!
