Why are there only 48 Mavericks/Comets with pictures and information parked in the Garage on this site??? I'm confident Stefan put a lot of work into building that section of the site and it is not being used by most of the members. You are missing a big opportunity to post information about your car at a location on this site that can be easily searched by other owners of these vehicles. The Garage allows you to post pictures, detailed information about your car; or if you wish wheel and tire size, time slips and dyno results in their designated areas of the Garage. It is very easy to compare time slips, tire and wheel data or dyno results at one location. You cannot easily do that on a thread or multiple threads that are 10 pages or more long with posts on those threads that may not even pertain to the subject matter. A person looking for detailed information about a car can simply click on a Maverick or Comet they may find interesting based on a picture or the first catch line. If a member is interested in improving their 1/4 mile ET they can go to the time slip page, find a car's time slip that might interest them then click on the link for that car and go to their detailed information. The same can be said for wheels and tires. It doesn't get much easier than that! Other easy search categories could be added to include front suspension, engine, transmission , torque convertor or differential. We need more participants to make the Garage a more useful tool. In addition, a lot of duplicate threads could be eliminated if a person were able to peruse a huge amount of data in one location and perhaps contact an owner directly via the site about a particular build. Just my thoughts.
I had not thought about the garage section to any degree until I read this thread/post. What U said makes a lot of sense; added my 2 cents immediately. Hopefully, the thread will inspire others to follow suite.
mojo, thanks for the positive comment! I see where you posted your gorgeous Comet in the Garage? Apparently it takes awhile for the information to actually appear. Garage posters, please provide as much information as possible about your Maverick or Comet. Pictures are not always worth a thousand words!
I did post some pix yesterday; I was in the process of adding pic and discovered I had put in duplicate pix. I went to erase one dup. and mistakenly took out everything in the garage. I was to tired last night to go through the entire routine last nite. I will re-submit all that info today along w/ explanation about the project.
I seem to have misplaced pictures of my car, they are in the gallery and as soon as I can figure out how to move them to the Garage I will do so

That is 50 registered members have parked their Maverick or Comet's information in the Garage. That leaves just 19,855 registered members to go. I feel like Erin Brockovich!!!!
Stephan, Thank you for the Garage modification. I now have the red numbered flag in the Garage section. I find that sometimes the flag number is lowered if I click on a new posting in the Most Recent section of the Garage but remaining numbers do not appear to be linked to any specific vehicle updates or additions. Can you explain?
Clicking on a new garage entry will reduce the number shown in the red flag. However, the number should also go down automatically after a certain period of time. Ill check the count again in the morning.
