    backing plate...rotors...calipers...brackets...rubber hoses...pads and E-brake cable.
    Grand Marques also.
3-4 of us get together and make a J/Y run and get a truck load...$45 a set.

I used the 97-02 Crown vic brakes, but there is an interference between the lower caliper bolt and the leaf springs. I used a dummy bearing race and a spare housing to locate new holes in the backing plate, clocking the backing plate to allow the bolts to clear. I followed Frank's Tech Article for using Crown Vic cables inside Maverick conduits for the e-brake. I had a local cable/hydraulic hose company crimp-on new buttons on the ends of the cables.

I was just wondering Paul, do you know if others doing this conversion have to clock the plate to miss the spring?
    Great build you have going.

I used the long shank caliper bolts. once broken loose they only unscrew 3-4 turns and the caliper can be removed. the bolt doesn't have to be removed.

I clocked the Explorer brakes I had on it at one time.

Why u change the Explorer brakes to Crown Vic? Looks like all your bolt heads have no issue clearing the springs!
Did u have to re-drill the backing plates -- can't tell from the pic's posted above?

I figured out a way to hook up the E-brake.
I clocked the Explorer mounting bracket so the bolt wouldn't hit. I had removed the backing plate and E-brake mec.
this is a pic of the kit I put together.

it wasn't I couldn't figure it out, it was I had cut the backing plate with the E-brake mec. off to make it a cleaner install. at that time it didn't have to work, just be purty...:slap:

I thought at one time there was. we have done this to 5 Ga. mav/Comets so far. some of the Guys came over to my shop and we installed 2 sets in one day.
I have a set of CV E-brake cables made up. we just swap the stock cables for them. then I make another set from them for the next swap...:thumbs2:
