Maverick at James Dean show

    '72 Maverick, 347 c.i., w/ dual quads, TKO 600 5-speed transmission, back halved w/ 4-link, '16 F150, 5.0 Coyotte, regular cab, shortbed, lowered 3/5 & 1-owner '79 Trans Am.
    Saw this Maverick at the James Dean festival Saturday the 26th in Fairmont, IN. It has both club decals on the rear quarter window. Nice, clean looking car.

    1972 Maverick Grabber - Color: Orange Also, 1976 Ford Maverick 4-door, 1977 Mercury Comet 2-door.
    That car belongs to Ken Ellis. There was also a red 1973 2-door Maverick that was there. Looks like a Saturday morning picture...the car is wet. I had a great time all weekend long.

    I missed the red Maverick and yours, Craig, for that matter. Mine was in the garage in the middle of a radiator install in preparation for next weekend.

    I did not have a Maverick there. There is so much to see and do that taking a car would hinder that. :D

    I had registered to make the Dean, but had some issues w/ my car. Also, was inducted as
    lifetime member of my union and was not going to miss that acknowledgment.
    Glad to see Ken made it; we had discussed whether we wud hook-up again there this year - didn't work out for me.
    I like that event and have attended several times -- I won the $250.00 raffle drawing a few year ago -- really made my day. Hope to make nx years.
