Gas tank help please

    Can someone please tell me what tank this is? I don't believe its original.

    Its leaking and needs to be replaced.

    1972 Maverick Grabber - Color: Orange Also, 1976 Ford Maverick 4-door, 1977 Mercury Comet 2-door.
    I would say it is a Mustang one. One that is used in the conversion from a Maverick tank. I see the straps have been moved over to center the tank.

    Where is it leaking?

    Thanks Craig and I agree, I think it is a repop of the 65-68 Mustang tank but wanted to ask you guys before I just buy one.

    It has small a couple of rust spots on the bottom that are seeping thru. Funny that its doing that already as I expect its probably less than 10 years old. Looks like there a couple different metal/ brand tanks made out there and this one seems to be the cheaper (Silver color) of them.

    Being the sending unit and gaskets are fairly new I will just probably get a tank and not the kit. I expect to go with this one on Monday unless the consensus is that the tank is something different.

    Minitubs and springs relocated 3" inboard, lots of work but 325's fit great!
