Everrett, not the look I was after.

Kevin, haven't gone out to look at it today, not expecting any change though. For me, perfectionism is a curse. Things rarely go as I plan and I end up setteling. Not this time.

    Thanks Schroen Sr

Ken, you know exactly where Im coming from. My eyes alway go right to the flaws rather than what came out right.

Went out and took a look now that its dry and its not that bad. I might be able to live with it if I double up on my medication. :rofl2: The shock towers are pretty good, the right front will be completly covered. The left front will be the only wide open area. I think my downfall was at the end. I still had some paint left so I made a heavy pass in some places, they seem to be the worst.

Redid 2 areas of the engine bay today. The rest is either ok or won't be seen. I am much happier with the results today. I believe I had my air pressure too low on Saturday. First 2 light coats started out the same way. I cranked the PSI up to 35 and it went on much better. Now I'm ready to start cleaning up everything I removed and get it back on.

    Wet sanded yesterday

No, I painted them on the car, it was not easy. Next time it's all coming out.

This is the 4th time the drivetrain has been out. Sooner or later I will get it right.

Spent 2 days in the garage getting things cleaned up and put back. Spent the better part of today fixing the hacked up wire harness around the headlights.

I'm amazed at all the colors! :rofl2:Everything has been black for so long I forgot what it was supposed to look like.

I know you're getting tired of the same of old pictures with minor changes so I promise, I'm done with the engine bay. I finished cleaning up the wires on the firewall, finished the master cylinder and switched out the horn (I thought my horn was from an 86 Bonneville that I had a long time ago. The one I WAS going to use was off the 72, I thought it looked weird. So I dug through my box of parts and found the horn from the 76 and it was the same as the one I had, so I put mine back.) Installed the engine stands(?), I have a question. I was told to get the mounts from the 250 because they were different. The lower part has the same part number as my originals. Is that right? The last thing I did was make a patch for the rusted out battery area. If I knew how easy it was to make a patch, I would have done it first. I have not mastered welding yet, so it's held in place with sheet metal screws, seam sealed and painted black. should have been blue, but I'm out, so it's black, it won't show anyway, at least I don't have a huge hole anymore. Now I need a new battery tray.

As I was about to post this pic, I noticed the horn wire looked stressed going into this horn so I just went out and moved it.
