[Show Quality] NOS Boomerangs - What is the value?

    I have a pair of NOS Boomerangs for the 1/4 windows that are show quality chrome (look like they where just chromed).

    I will not be having any chrome on the car, and want to paint the boomerangs black to match the body. I cant bring myself to ruining a perfectly good pair of NOS Boomerangs, so I would like to sell them/trade for another ugly set to paint.

    What is the value of these NOS Boomerangs? I tried to take the best picture I could to show the quality of them, but its hard lmao. Every spec of dust makes it look like there's a imperfection, or you see my big head in the piece :rofl2:

    If these where yours, what would you sell them for?

    Also, there is not a single scratch, ding, dent, or chip. These are 110% PERFECT & Original PAIR OF BOOMERANGS - BETTER THAN SHOW QUALITY!

    I can't tell if they are the rounded ones or the straight edge ones.. Kinda looks round..

    What do you mean rounded or straight? What part wuold be the rounded/straight?

    They can't be called "NOS" since they came off a car, "NOS" is a term used to describe a part, that is still new in box.
    I guess it all depends on what people want to pay. There is someone reproducing them, but I don't know the quality.

    For those that have not seen them - square and round edge side by side .......... :thumbs2:

    I paid over $200 a pair to get a couple sets re-chromed up here. That was heavy triple plating show chrome. I would say ebay value on a good day would hit $300. :)

    This is what I was talking about.. The more square one usually has a sill plate under the qtr window. Then there will be another sill plate on the door, up next to the window, terminating around the mirror area.. or maybe the end of the door, can't remember that part. I think it does go to the end of the door kinda curling a little at the tip..
