My name is Robert, and I am a mavoholic. My dad traded his 70 Chevelle SS396 for my 1970 Maverick Grabber. It is Vermillion with black stripes, rimblow steering wheel, and not much else. Right now its sitting in their backyard, with lots of dust, rust, and fading paint. The motor is locked up tight, and the rearend is dead. Sounds like a nice project, huh? Well, it will be a good project when my wifes 64 comet gets on the road. Hopefully soon. Anybody have a good template for the hood stripes...

I'm sure the answer is somewhere on this forum but I can't find it. I'm installing an RC-107 crossmember on my 1970 Maverick. The centerline of my original front end measured to 13" from the center of the second bumper bolt. The RC-107 information says for the centerline to be 12 3/4" from this bolt. I was wandering if anyone has solid info on what I should use for my R&C crossmember centerline. Thanks in advance.

Hey Guys, newbie here, I was doing some research into how I can tuck the larger 1974 maverick bumper a little more. Some people said you can slide back the brackets 2.5 inches into another set of holes. It looks like that has already been done on mine.

Someone also mentioned you can cut part of the stone guard off to actually move the chrome bumper (not the stone guard) back on the stone guard, my confusion about that is how you would remount the bumper onto the stone guard since it would...
Here to better understand all the suspension options especially.
I would like to put in a 302 but would like to keep the transmission that is in, as I had it rebuilt in 99 then parked it a few years later.
Sentimental for her, and for me as I was brought home from the hospital in a '70 Maverick.
