Hi all,

It's been a while. As of January, I am now retired, so please feel free to put pressure on me to get back to my Comet. LOL.

I am looking at the Tri Y Headers from Scott Drake and they look tight enough to the engine to be promising for our applications in Mavericks and Comets. Wondering if anyone out there has already attempted this and what the results were?

Haven't posted up until now because what I have been working on would not photograph well.

My car had a few minor cowl leaks. When it was my daily driver(around 1995), I could not afford to have it out of commission. After treating any rust I could see with a rust convertor, I managed to seal up the leaks with a little bit of Duro "Liquid Metal" putty pressed in from underneath. Then I poured a mixture of latex caulk and water (about 80/20) in through the cowl vents and let it run to the...

It's been roughly ten years since I started on this project and it's a project! It's a 1972 white two door Comet with a 302, power steering and air. My dad bought it new in 72 and used as his work car for 20 years before parking it with 60K miles. All it needed was a new starter!

This forum has been fantastic over the years in walking me through everything I've done thus far. I am reaching a new milestone in doing some work on the trans and bottom half of the engine and figured it...
This has happened twice in a month. Once about 700 miles into a 1200 mile road trip to the Roundup, and yesterday at a car show.

On the road trip we stopped for gas and drinks. Got into the car, started it up and put it into D, hit the gas. Nothing. Revved up like it was in N. Went up and down the gear shift, nothing. Put it back into P, popped the hood and confirmed the lever was moving...
My window was getting hard to roll up or down.. I took the door panel off and found the regulator dry, the very little grease it has is dry and crusty.. I also found that one of the channel rollers is seized or at least very, hard to roll.. but looking up the replacement rollers the pictures show that the "roller" is more of a square slider..
